養分ロックアウトは、植物が、生育培地または養液から1つ以上のミネラルを吸収できない場合に発生します。これらの養分が物理的に存在していても吸収できません。これは、多くの場合、pHの誤り、過剰なEC、またはミネラルイオン間の拮抗作用によって引き起こされ、吸収を阻害します。

- Fix: flush roots with pH-balanced plain water, then reintroduce nutrients at correct pH and EC
- Prevention: test pH and EC daily; change reservoir solution every 2–3 weeks
