La bordatura è una fisiopatia che colpisce le colture a foglia, più comunemente la lattuga, in cui i bordi e le punte delle foglie interne diventano marroni e muoiono. È causata da una carenza di calcio ai margini delle foglie, non dalla mancanza di calcio nella soluzione nutritiva, ma da un trasporto inadeguato di calcio a causa della bassa traspirazione all'interno delle teste fogliari dense e chiuse.
