Multiply EC (in mS/cm) by 500 to get PPM on the 500-scale (used by most US meters), or by 700 for the 700-scale (common in Europe). For example, 2.0 mS/cm = 1000 PPM (500-scale) or 1400 PPM (700-scale). Check which scale your meter uses before converting.
